This is my website FAQ page, providing information about my art and my website.

What is this website about?

This website is a gallery/store for my art. I built this website to showcase all of my original and commissioned illustrations, paintings, prints, digital designs, and animations that I’ve produced so far. All artworks available for purchase can be found here, as well as information on how to commission a custom art piece, means of contact & following my art on social media, and any other details about my art process, orders, and fulfillment.

What is your art about? Where can I learn more and follow along?

You can learn more about my art process by checking out each of the artworks on this site, by visiting my About | Commissions page, reading my Blog posts, subscribing to my newsletter, and following me on Instagram.

Do you support any causes?

I donate 3-10% of the purchase price of every art sale, split between The Nature Conservancy and SPCA International.

Is this the only place to buy your art?

You can also purchase my art directly from me. Website payment processing fees are expensive; if you opt to buy from me directly, I will apply half of the payment processing savings as a discount toward the purchase price. If you are a customer paying in $USD, I can provide payment links via Paypal, Venmo, Wise, Direct Transfer, or Cryptocurrency. Please Get In Touch with the artwork you’d like to purchase, your shipping address, and any valid discount code you’d like to apply to your order.

What currencies are your artworks available to purchase in?

My work is listed and sold on this website in $USD. Please note that payments made in other currencies are possible but will incur additional website processing & currency conversion fees. If you are a customer paying in a currency other than $USD, you may prefer to buy from me directly; I will provide payment options in your currency of choice, and apply half of the payment processing & currency conversion savings as a discount toward the purchase price. Please Get In Touch with the artwork you’d like to purchase, your shipping address, and your currency of choice, along with any valid discount code you’d like to apply to your order.

What is the process for commissioned artwork?

When receiving a commission order, I first converse with the client about their idea, honing their vision into a tangible concept. Once the outlines of the design and the price are agreed upon, I move forward in executing the design and consult with the client along the way as necessary. Unless otherwise specified and agreed upon from the start, such as with retainers for lengthier projects, payment is usually handled in full at the end of the process when I present the final piece.

How long does it take to produce a commissioned artwork?

For handmade A3 format illustrations, tattoos, and digital illustration designs & prints, it usually takes 2-3 weeks from concept to completion, though sometimes less or more depending on the complexity of the design. Smaller pieces such as logo and tattoo designs up to 15cm may take two weeks, while larger scale pieces such as paintings may take one-two months or more.

How much does a commissioned artwork cost?

The price of the artwork is determined by the complexity and color gamut of the design, the time it takes to produce, and any other material costs such as supplies, manufacturing, and shipping.

• For handmade A3 format illustrations & prints, the price is $400-550 including shipping.

• For tattoos and digital illustrations & designs of similar sizing and/or requiring equal time to create, the price is $325-475 (the aforementioned price range of physical artworks, less the average cost of materials and shipping).

• For other sizes, such as large scale works or logo & tattoo designs smaller than 15cm, the price is determined on a case-by-case basis. Please Get In Touch to learn more.

How do you package your artwork?

All artworks are carefully wrapped and packaged using rigid cardboard envelopes, boxes, or tubes. Framed pieces have additional wrapping for protection.

How do you send your artwork?

All artworks are shipped with tracking & insurance, using international couriers such as UPS or Fedex.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is included in the price of every artwork, unless otherwise specified. As might be the case for orders outside Europe and North America, I may reach out to settle additional costs if the price of shipping is found to be higher than accounted for in the initial purchase price of the artwork.

Why do framed artworks cost more?

The difference in price accounts for the frame itself and for the cost of shipping a larger, heavier package with glass inside.

Can I cancel my order?

Most non-commission orders may be cancelled until they are shipped. You will be reimbursed the cost of the order, minus any costs incurred on my end from the time of the order, such as printing, supplies, and packaging. Commission orders may be cancelled through the initial consultation & conceptualization stage, until production has begun.

What happens if my order arrives damaged or has other quality issues?

While I do my best to package my art as protectively as possible, sometimes an order might arrive damaged due to poor handling during shipping. If that is the case, please Get In Touch immediately with photos/videos so that I may file an insurance claim with the shipping courier. Depending on the kind of artwork ordered, I will offer either reimbursement, replacement, or substitution if it is damaged or substandard.

Can I return my order?

Unless your order arrives damaged or has other quality issues, all sales are final. However, should the artwork you ordered not meet your expectations, I might be able to offer a discount on a replacement or substitution if you reach out.

I ordered prints from you in the past, what happens to them?

My past prints are of the same sleek designs as the editions currently listed on this website. However, that first batch of prints was hand-signed at the front with my logo and numbered as part of slated editions of 88 units, whereas today’s editions are of 15 prints signed and numbered at the back. Once these new 15-unit editions are sold, no more prints of those designs will be produced, thereby greatly diminishing the total supply. Between the old and new prints, each of those designs’ total editions now won’t exceed 25 units.

How do Augmented Reality (AR) overlays work?

In order to make my physical artworks more dynamic and interactive, and to allow website visitors & prospective customers to experience them before purchase, I produce Augmented Reality overlays of my own designs and animations using Adobe Aero. It is not necessary to download the app to experience the AR overlays, but you will be prompted to do so if your device is incompatible without the app.

Where can I find these Augmented Reality overlays?

There are links on every available product’s description page to experience AR overlays of the artwork and any corresponding designs & animations. Links provided for website visitors & prospective customers are to experience the artwork in AR online before purchase, while those for artwork owners are of higher resolution AR overlays available for use offline, tethered to and activated by the purchased artwork itself.
